Heavy Freight, Huge Rewards

If you own or lease a large commercial vehicle like a Sprinter Van, Cargo Van, or 16-foot Box Truck, your earning potential in the gig economy is massive. Platforms like GoShare, Frayt, or specialized freight boards actively seek Independent Contractor Drivers with large-capacity vehicles to execute "middle mile" logistics, furniture delivery, or palletized freight transport. These specialized driving jobs are incredibly lucrative, as commercial freight and oversized items trigger significantly higher base payouts and commercial rates.

Bulk Gig Highlights

• Premium Commercial Payouts: Oversized freight orders and commercial logistics runs typically command significantly higher base pay than standard consumer deliveries.
• Return on Vehicle Investment: Turn your heavy-duty Cargo Van or Box Truck into a highly profitable logistical asset. You can claim massive, high-paying routes that standard car drivers cannot legally or physically accommodate.
• Fewer Stops, More Cash: Hit your daily financial goals by executing just two or three massive commercial drops or furniture deliveries, rather than grinding out dozens of small parcel stops.
• Commercial Loading: Master the layouts of massive retail clubs and commercial docks. You will utilize heavy-duty flatbed carts and pallet jacks to load your vehicle efficiently.

Operational Realities

This is a physically demanding iteration of independent contracting. You must be prepared to repeatedly lift heavy furniture, 50-pound boxes, or maneuver pallet jacks. Excellent cargo securement skills (using ratchet straps and load bars) are absolutely required to ensure heavy freight does not shift dangerously inside your van's cargo bay during transit.

Requirements

Must be 21+ with a valid license and commercial-grade auto insurance. You must own or lease a large-capacity commercial vehicle (Cargo Van, Sprinter, or Box Truck). Elite physical strength is an absolute requirement; you must be capable of lifting, pushing, and carrying heavy bulk items continuously. Background check and MVR check required.
